The Art of Artisan Natural Gelato
Our concept for the gelato cafe is similar to the Italian style gelateria. This means that we do not only sell gelato but instead, we combine our gelato with other complimenting products such as coffee, cappuccino, milkshakes, and affogato, which is gelato with Italian coffee. We also like to accompany our gelato with a choice of croissants, cheesecakes, or a variety of fresh fruits. In addition, we offer unique gelato cocktails that contain alcohol for guests of legal drinking age. Our delicious frozen treats are for ideal for everyone, no matter the age! Our gelato cafe is perfect for every event. Come see us on your first date, and then remember us when you are celebrating your anniversaries! Children will want to come celebrate the summer heat with us, and your parents will thank you for the unique experience our gelato will give their taste buds. If you want something fun, sweet, and different visit Fiocco!

Rudi Sacchet was born in a small city in the Dolomites, a mountain range located in northeastern Italy. For more than 150 years, this town has been recognized as “The Capital of Gelato” due to its long history of gelato makers. The Sacchet family has been making gelato for over three generations! First, it was their great grandfather Martino who started the tradition. Martino then taught his son, Giovanni, the secrets of great gelato. Giovanni then passed on the tradition to his two sons, Rudi, and Roberto. In 1989, Rudi and Roberto decided to move to Bavaria, Germany where they opened three gelato shops. During the winter, off-season, Rudi began working with a company that manufactured machinery for gelato makers worldwide. In 2004, Rudi decided to work full-time with the manufacturing company, while also continuing to sell gelato. Working with this company allowed Rudi to educate people on the manufacturing side of gelato production. In 2014 Rudi stopped working with the company and decided to move to the United States in pursuit of sharing his passion for gelato with America.
